N is for Number of soldiers
December 2, 1956 Castro and his 82 soldiers went aboard a ship; Granma. They had landed in cuba but Castro's number of soldiers quickly reduced because of Batista's men. But Castro and some of his most important leaders still made it to Sierra Maestra mountains.

O is for On May 24, 1958
On the 24th Batista had lauched an attack on Castro's rebels: Operación verano.
Batista had 17 battalions, tanks, planes, and ships - but when he fought Castro, Castro's men still inflicted a heavy number of casualties on Batista soldiers.

P is for Pardoned
After a horrible fail, Castro's men were captured/killed at Moncada. At the trial, Fidel Castro gave a speech(his most famous speech)- History Will Absolve Me, and was pardoned for about two years.

Q is for consequences
Fidel Castro, Che guevara, Raul Castro, Camilo Cienfuegos took on Batista's army. Batista couldn't keep up with castro's guerilla war fare tatics- so he had to live with the consequences-and surrender.

the cuban revolution was a hard won battle. but in the end castro came out on top. batista had fallen pray to
castro's guerilla style fighting. but winning the battle would have been a lot harder if castro didnt have the
peasants to back him up.
